Bio-BDMC™30, is a patented curcumin extract with one of the highest levels of BDMC (bisdemethoxycurcumin) available in the world today. In a standard curcumin extract, BDMC exists in extremely low concentrations – between 0.5% to 1.5%. When it is increased to 30% (BDM30), it provides a breakthrough in inflammatory therapy at the genetic and subcellular level. Research suggests that BDM30 targets and neutralizes a key protein in the nucleus of cells that switches of the production of inflammatory proteins and is more precisely targeted as a curcumin therapy. BDMC inhibits NF-kB and MSK1 to combat in ammation from two targets. Regular curcumin only inhibits NF-kB.
Curcumin extracts typically deliver a curcuminoid proportion as: diferuloylmethane (curcumin I) 75–80%; demethoxycurcumin (DMC — curcumin II) 9-12%; and bisdemethoxycurcumin (BDMC — curcumin III) 0.2–3%.
Regular curcumin extracts (even the 95% variation) maximally delivers 3% of this BDMC activity and therefore cannot inhibit a key protein (MSK1) that regulates inflammatory cytokine transcription (generation). The patented Curcumin BDMC30™ is engineered to deliver a minimum 30% concentration of these curcuminoids.
Bio-BDMC™30 inhibits a second key protein (MSK1) involved in activating inflammation. Regular Curcumin of many types tested cannot inhibit(stop) this protein (MSK1).
Ultimately: Bio-BDMC™30 inhibits two key proteins (MSK1 and NF- kB) while regular curcumin 95% only inhibits one of these (NF-kB) as is commonly known to be its
anti-inflammatory mechanism.
BioBDMC is also a very potent antioxidant as measured using ORAC value (oxygen radical absorbance capacity), a unit of measurement for antioxidant content which was originally developed by the National Institute on Aging. It is 125 times stronger than standard curcumin, and 80 times stronger than Astaxanthin, a product previously thought to be the strongest in the world.
Bio-BDMC™30 o ers 565,000 ORAC units per gram while regular curcumin has an ORAC of just 9,500 units.
What does green lipped mussel contain?
Green Lipped Mussel is a rich source of anti-inflammatory omega-3 fatty acids, especially eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA). Researchers have identified other types of fatty acids from the mussels like Eicosatetraenoic acid (ETA). Research is continuing to show small doses of Green Lipped Mussel Oil are by and large more active than a similar-sized dose of fish oil.
This is because they are a potent source of essential fatty acids like Eicosatetraenoic acid (ETA), which improves health on the gene level.
They also possess anti-inflammatory effects by inhibiting enzymes and proteins that produce inflammation and pain. Similarly, green lipped-mussels contain chondroitin sulphate (Glycosaminoglycans), a component of connective tissues like joints and bones that may reduce inflammation in the same way.
Glycosaminoglycans are long, unbranched carbohydrates that are major components of cartilage matrix and synovial fluid.
Green Lipped Mussels are good sources of zinc and excellent sources of iron, selenium, and several B-vitamins.
Dietary supplementation with glycosaminoglycans, particularly chondroitin sulphate, may help to stimulate cartilage matrix production, inhibit degradative enzyme activity in cartilage and help to prevent thrombus, plaque and fibrin formation in synovial and subchondral blood vesse.

Suggested Use (Maintenance Dosing): One tablet per day for dogs over 25 lbs. Half tablet per day for animals 25 lbs. or less.
